About Me

đź’ˇ Who I Am

I’m Adrian Pokharel — a first-generation Nepali American, disabled U.S. Army veteran, former candidate for Congress, mental health advocate, entrepreneur, writer, media creator, and artist. My story spans from war zones to town halls, from silent struggles to global stages — and every step has shaped who I am and how I serve.

🌍 What I Stand For

I believe in people over politics, healing over hiding, and service over ego. Whether I'm advocating for veterans, uplifting mental health, empowering communities, or creating platforms for truth and justice, my mission stays the same:

👉 To lead with courage, compassion, and conviction.

🛡️ From Soldier to Servant Leader

My time in the military taught me discipline and sacrifice. But it also exposed me to the invisible wounds that so many carry — especially in silence. As a disabled veteran, I know firsthand the toll of trauma, and I’ve committed my life to breaking those barriers through advocacy, policy, and storytelling.

🧠 Mental Health Is Political

I don’t separate mental health from politics — because mental health is political. It’s about access, dignity, and survival. I work to ensure no one is left behind, especially in marginalized and immigrant communities that are too often overlooked.

🇳🇵 Lifting the Nepali American Voice

As one of the few Nepali American voices in U.S. politics and media, I carry not only my story but the hopes of a global diaspora. I founded platforms like AMN-USA and UNPAC to build leadership pipelines, share truth, and activate communities from the grassroots up.

🎤 Creator, Artist, and Truth-Teller

Through music, poetry, media, and movement work, I channel the personal into the political. I believe storytelling saves lives. And I believe in using every medium to fight for equity, justice, and collective healing.
